It felt amazing to step into one of the busiest airport in the Earth!
Even though it is early in the morning, there were tons of people walking around. I was overwhelmed with the crowds but I was too awed to see how enormous this airport is!

Oh, after almost half-day flight, the first destination that I went to is the female toilet.
I didn't dare to use airplane toilet because I was afraid the airplane would shake when I am using it. I don't like shaky airplanes. I remained seated whole flight!

Fun fact: Dubai's tap water is HOT🔥!
But why❔❕ #cultureshock
I was thinking to wash my face after a very long flight with cool water to wake me up but it was a shockingly hot water. 🔥😰
I was afraid I would have a hard time finding my next gate to my next flight but it was extremely easy. 🙌
One thing that I did in that place--as a place where I have never been before--was to learn the surroundings the 'inside-out' way.
Usually, when I grab attention, I would do it outside-in way. Which means, I see the bigger picture first, then start giving the smaller details highlight, and go to the even smaller details, and smaller details, and smaller.
What I did in DXB was different. I looked left, right, front, then up.
I tried to see the things those shops sell, then the people who walked around it, then the shop itself, then the shop name and the interior, moved to the other side, did the same thing, stared on my front, looked at the floor, went up, looked at people, looked at the gate information screen, went up, looked at the ceilings, noticed the sky.
I notice, with this method, I could remember many details--like what are the shops like, the shops layout, the items, the people, the small part of the airport layout.
Only that.
Yes, I remember how were things there, even some faces, the layout, the temperature, where were things..
I remember many detailed things, within the store, the items, the layout, even, where things were.
But not more than that.
I wonder if I did the outside-in way, I might remember more things, just not detailed.

People who designed the airport are great, awesome people!
Reason: I located the gate fast and easily.
Thank you for making my solo backpack trip completely fun because I wasn't lost at all, not even once. 👏
I believe if I had a long transit time I would walk to the whole corner of the airport to discover everything, but since I only had a very short transit time so I'd put that on my bucket list first.
